It's like watching Bruce Campbell (Army of Darkness) play the role of Link! I like that you don't shy away from animating anything and everything, it's not perfect but its obvious your having a lot of fun with it! I laughed at the ridiculous-ness many times.

I realize "you" spent a lot of time on the two characters.. but the overall pacing and plot felt rushed. Spoilers: The building collapsing scene was pretty mediocre (redeemed by the robot occupant). So the water that went into the ground about half a km away somehow ends up at the center, and the robot gets a skin jacket from the fire and water tragedy, moral of the story is... forbidden love will be squashed by the man, and tearing down the establishment will just make you part of it. lol 9 stars for the characters, you wanted to animate characters well and did a great job.
